Description
This oil cooler is a brand new race quality uprated replacements for the Suzuki GSX 1400 K series 2000 on.
This oil cooler has a 45 mm deep core and is built for extreme loads like racing and desert climates.
Unlike the vacuum braised original unit this oil cooler has proper aluminium tanks and a solid slab core, Tig welded together all for extra strength.
The common problems of oil pipe flanges cracking has been cured with deep thick solid flanges, the fluted end tanks that leak on the joints have been replaced with one piece, thick tanks and the two thin mounting brackets have been replaced with a heavy duty one piece bracket and the stone guard brackets replaced with threaded bosses (see picture).
These units are a direct replacement for the original and only require minor modification with the top bracket removing some of the depth of rubber bush. there is no fitting of extra oil pipes, brackets and mounting points, like other GSX 1400 oil coolers on the market. There is also no need of modification for stone guard fittings.
The units are usually etch primed and finished in satin black paint but can be supplied unpainted for polishing to a mirror finish if required.
We have been informed that some after-market stone guards may need the holes in the guard filing out slightly.
Please be aware that in the summer season delivery can be slower that normal due to demand.
