This radiator and was track tested on the class winning car at spa, Belgium in the 2012 season and performed faultlessly.
This is a tig welded lightweight aluminium radiator, for the lotus elan 26R. it can be fitted to all series 1,2,3,4, +2, +2s and sprint elan models. brackets can be added to the radiator for the late Elans and +2 models to mate up with the wing mountings for the covrad radiators if required.
We have opted for a core depth of 42mm to ensure that over cooling does not occur as has happened with the full depth radiator, however the radiator can be supplied with a 66mm core if requested at an extra charge.
We have available in another listing a swirl pot / header tank with a sight glass fitted which is available at an extra charge, that enables a water level check without removing the pressure cap.
The radiator is finished lightly polished, unpainted ready for polishing to a mirror finish or etch priming and painting satin black.
