Thermostat housing / Filler neck combination ensures engine is coolant filled at the highest point alleviation the air locks suffered from filling at the radiator neck. This unit is ready to fit straight onto cars without a radiator or alternative filler neck. Where a car has a filler neck on the radiator or alternative filling system we have a 20 pounds pressure cap with a fully closed recuperation valve, that will seal that filler off making the thermohousing the primary filler neck and pressure relief device. This neck faces towards the radiator on the Elan and uses the standard Elan top hose, unlike other necks available that face towards the wing and need a lot of re piping.
