We are please to announce that our radiator has cooled the Elan race winners for many seasons of the HSSC historic Road sports championship and was seen on 90% of the Elan’s racing at a Silvestone meeting that we attended
This is a Tig welded lightweight aluminium replacement radiator, for the Lotus Elan late 3, series 4 and the elan +2, +2s this is the full width radiator as copied by lotus, from the Triumph Spitfire. It will also replace the smaller spitfire radiator fitted with metal wings on the sides, that Lotus used on the later models. we will modify this for you to fit the series 1, 2 and early 3 cars.
The unit is very lightweight and has a core depth of 45mm, equivalent to a deep (three core), three row core. the unit can be supplied with or without a fan operating switch boss.the total weight of the radiator is 3.75 kilos. it has been pressure tested to 40 p.s.i.
Please note you have the option to purchase without a filler neck and fit the Thermostatic filler neck housing.
