We were approached by the University of Glasgow who were in an advanced stage of entering the Institute Of Mechanical Engineers Race car manufacturing and racing Project. The Group gave us their calculations for water heat loss and asked that we prove them and make any suggestions to improve the system. We tested their calculus and recommended various additions and alterations to the system. We were invited to become a Bronze sponsor which we happily accepted. We have designed a swirl pot header tank and radiator for the project and obtained a fan from Kenlowe in Maidenhead to cool the radiator when the car is stationary. the car is now in an advanced stage and after various chassis modification have been carried out, testing will begin in readiness for the 2013 season race. We look forward to our continuing relationship with U.G.Racing.
