Description
This is the VW polo derived,42mm deep core all aluminium race quality radiator and intercooler. When ordering the 70mm deep radiator core option we would strongly suggest adding the high power Comex fan.
This pack used in the Westfield and many kit car applications and other special builds, great for both road a race usage.
The radiator shown has top right bottom left water pipes, however you may choose any pipe position you wish. You may also choose the position and type of fixing brackets that best for your application
The radiator can be fitted with an optional 10″ inch fan. We can also supply with a fitted fan switch.
The intercooler is shown with 2 x 90 degree aluminium hoses, 51mm id.
The full package is a Coolex branded item and comes with a 2 years guarantee against faulty materials and manufacture.
The radiator core sizes are:
300mm tall x 360mm wide x 42mm deep
The intercooler sizes are:
285 tall x 420 wide x 50mm deep
the fan has a maximum depth of 70mm
The maximum Combi sizes are:
390mm high to the top of the silicone hoses x 465mm wide including water tanks x 200mm deep including radiator intercooler and fan motor
Two other sizes of core depth are available at 55mm and 70mm
This radiator is constructed in aircraft grade aluminium with a 55mm core,28mm thicker core than the standard radiator, the tubes have a close 10mm pitch between them and the fin pitch is 16 fins per inch.
The intercooler core is vacuum brazed and is the canted tube variety. the tanks are sloped for maximum airflow efficiency.
The fan is manufactured by an o.e. manufacturer to iso 9001 standard and carries a 2 years guarantee. it is fitted on proper welded brackets and comes with a fitted fan switch on request.
The combi pack is built in the UK to the highest standards.
